For over a decade, we have tested this theory and are so excited to share the results and techniques we have learned with you. Our goal is to offer hands-on and dynamically conversational events each season. Club members have the unique opportunity to participate in all that goes on from planting to sipping, as we enjoy together the process of producing quality small-batch wine.
Meet the Founder
Stephen Scarnato
The visionary behind New Roots, Stephen, is a native of Long Island’s North Fork wine region. After an internship at Martha Clara Vineyard in Mattituck, New York, in 2010, he further honed his experience at Wölffer Estate Vineyard in Sagaponack, New York, before starting his own business, Long Island Vine Care, in 2015.
In 2022, Stephen and his wife Sarah launched New Roots to produce their own labels and educate wine enthusiasts of all backgrounds. Quarterly gatherings, hosted at private vineyards and farms, delve into the intricacies of winemaking techniques adapted to Long Island’s unique terroir. Each event, led by Stephen himself, fosters a deeper understanding and appreciation of the local wine culture.
